EDUCATION IN ENGLISH 📝
Students in the first year take English skills courses to read, present, and write academic essays and construct opinions logically in English. All classes are taught in English throughout the 4 years of the degree program, which allows students to attain an advanced level of English proficiency.
INTERDISCIPLINARY EDUCATION 👀
In years 1 and 2 students build a foundation in interdisciplinary education by completing a balanced number of courses from a diverse range of disciplines. In years 2 and 3 they focus on the fields they are interested in, complete comprehensive courses from a range of disciplines, and cultivate an interdisciplinary perspective that goes beyond the framework of existing fields. In years 3 and 4 they develop specialized knowledge in their chosen field of study through seminars and acquire the ability to apply basic knowledge to specific challenges.
SMALL CLASS SIZES 📓
GIS courses have small classes, which enables the low professor-student ratio. These small classes provide a platform for student participation, discussion, and presentation. This active learning stimulates and fosters their creativity and critical thinking.
