Adding materials

On the Classwork tab, you can add materials for your class. Plus, it's possible to order them by topic.

1. To add materials, click on '+ Create' and select 'Material'.

A dialogue box will appear, like we saw on the Stream to post a message. As you can see, you add a title, an optional description, a topic if necessary, and we have the the option to add or create materials (attachments, Drive files, Youtube video links, and weblinks).

Adding an attachment

1. Type in a title and a description (optional), then click the paperclip icon.

2. Click 'Select files from your device'.

3. Find the file you want and click 'Open'.

4. This will add the attachment to the post.

5. You can select a topic to organise it by, or leave it without a topic, or you can create a topic from here. Let's do the latter by clicking 'Create topic'.

6. Type in the name of the new topic.

7. Click 'Post' and the you will see on the Classwork page that a new topic has been added and the attachment has been placed under it.

8. To open the attachment, click on the title and then click on the attachment.

To add Drive materials, YouTube videos, or weblinks, click '+ Create' and 'Materials', then in the post select the appropriate icon at the bottom. It's exactly the same way as we saw in Sharing a weblink, Sharing a YouTube video, and Sharing Drive materials.
