1. To create an assignment, on the Classwork page, click 'Create' and 'Assignment'.
2. This will open the Assignment dialogue box. As we saw in setting questions, fill in the assignment title, the instructions, points (if any), due date, and select a topic (if required). Then click the blue 'Assign' button.
3. The assignment will be added to the Classwork page.
4. Click on the title to see a summary of the assignment, which includes the instructions, how many it is assigned to and have handed it in. Click 'View Assignment'.
1. The student has the option of adding materials, creating Google documents to submit, or they can just mark it has done.
2. To add a document or link that already exists, they click on 'Add' and select the option they want. They can add a document from their Google Drive, add a web link, or upload a file from their computer. They can add more than one type.
Note, the adding goes through the same process we saw in the sharing materials.
3. They can use create a new Google document for this assignment. They click 'Create' and the type of document they want to include. The document will be added to their Drive and shared with this assignment.
1. To review the assignment, the teacher opens the assignment form the Classwork page and goes to the 'Student work' tab.
2. As we saw in the questions, the teacher can return work by clicking on the checkbox next to the student's name. Then, click 'Return'.
3. This will add a tick next to the student's name, to show it's been handed in and returned.
Any class comments, are shown under the 'Instructions' tab in the assignment.
