Gachapin originates from the infants TV show, "Hirake! Ponkikki" - which is more akin to Japanese Sesame Street and its succeeding series - "Ponkickies".
"Hirake! Ponkikki" ran from 1973-1993 on Fuji TV. Gachapin is a green, bucktoothed dinosaur and is usually with his friend who is called Mukku (he looks like a red Yeti). For whatever reason, during the early 2000's - meme status in Japan portrayed him on the internet as a villain and for that exact reason, Maiga decided to portray him as a villain for this game as well.
Gachapin is a character that mainly focuses on powerful strikes, with emphasis on TODing the opponent with his high attack power.
