The month of January is Stalking Awareness Month. To support this important cause, my student organization, DAPSO (Domestic Abuse Prevention Student Organization), hosted an educational night to raise awareness about stalking and its impact. We also wanted to focus on the effect of pop culture and social media and how they romanticize it. I made the google slides so I could present the information to the DAPSO executive board and members who attended the event. The evening was a great success, and I was proud to contribute to the primary prevention efforts on the IUI campus.
