I joined the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) because of my strong interest in cancer research and pathology. Through my experience in a pathology lab, I’ve developed a passion for understanding the molecular mechanisms behind cancer and how research can drive advancements in diagnosis and treatment. Being part of AACR allows me to stay informed about the latest breakthroughs, connect with professionals in the field, and further develop my skills as a researcher.
I joined the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) to deepen my understanding of forensic science and its applications in research and investigations. With my background in biology and forensic science, I am passionate about advancing forensic methodologies, particularly in DNA analysis and pathology. Being part of AAFS allows me to stay updated on new developments, network with experts, and enhance my skills for a future career in forensic research.
I joined the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) because of my passion for molecular biology and its role in advancing scientific research. As a co-founder and Vice President of my school's ASBMB chapter, I wanted to create a space where students could expand their knowledge, gain hands-on experience, and connect with professionals in the field. Being part of ASBMB has allowed me to promote scientific literacy, organize educational events, and help others prepare for careers in research and biotechnology.
