Elle transcende les scènes inspirationelles, néo-soul et Hip Hop avec son son qui autonomise et crée de l'impact. En tant que femme Noire, elle embrasse toutes les manières dont son existence défie les limitations conventionellement imposée sur elle.

MayaSpoken is an award winning spoken word artist, singer-songwriter, author, activist, and speaker. At 21 years old, she has given Ted Talk and published the poetry novel Warriors in Broad Daylight. She is also the founder of Tell ‘Em Girl and Loud Black Girls. In 2019, she released her first single ”Without You” and is now pursuing her Bachelors with a Major in Social Work.
MayaSpoken est une artiste, auteur-compositrice, écrivaine, activiste et conférencière décorée. À 21 ans, elle a déja donné un Ted Talk et a publié un roman poétique intitulé "Warriors in Broad Daylight". Elle est également la fondatrice de Tell'Em Girl et Loud Black Girls. En 2019, elle a lancé son premier single "Without You" et étudie maintenant en travail social.

She is a ⅓ of alternative chill-soul trio Strange Froots and the co-Founder of the QTBIPOC Montreal collective Fruition. You can listen to her first solo album "Painted Imageries" which dropped this early January.
