BEYOND OUR BORDERS
Jesus was a pioneer. He left His comfort zone and came to the earth, gave His life away and finally became the way for us.
To be Pioneer is to pave the way for others. In order for a mission movement to grow, we need more pioneers. Pioneering is a challenge but it is such a rewarding challenge.
We do not encourage people to stay in Llanelli after their training. We want them to move on. We want them to create the movement of people. We want the 21st century nomadic people.
From the UK we can almost have a great view of whole Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. Our goal is to serve the people beyond our borders.
예수님은 개척자였습니다. 그 분은 자신의 안전지대를 떠나서 이 땅에 오셨습니다. 자신의 삶을 우리를 위해 주셨고, 결국 우리를 위한 길이 되셨습니다. 개척자가 된다는 것은 다른 사람을 위해 길을 만든다는 뜻입니다. 선교 운동이 자라기 위해서 우리는 더 많은 개척자가 필요합니다. 그것은 분명 어려운 도전이지만, 보상이 큰 도전이기도 합니다. 우리는 훈련이후 사람들이 클라네클리에 머물기를 바라지 않습니다. 우리는 그들이 계속 움직여 가기를 원하고, 사람들의 운동을 만들기 원합니다. 21세기 유목민, 그들이 우리가 찾는 사람입니다. 영국으로부터 우리는 북아프리카와 중동 유럽을 한 눈에 내려다 볼 수 있고, 우리의 경계를 넘어 선 곳에 있는 사람들을 섬기는 것이 우리의 목표입니다.
Reaching Out To People
우리 주변에는 눈에 보이는, 보이지 않는 많은 경계들이 있다. 정치적인 국경도 존재하지만, 언어나 문화적 장벽들도 존재한다. 그리고 이러한 장벽을 넘는데는 특별한 시도가 필요하다. 그리고 그러한 시도는 우리에게 어색하고 불편할 수 있다. 그러나 그 경계를 넘을 때 그 시도만큼 특별한 배움이 우리에게 주어진다. 그것은 우리가 익숙한 환경에 사람들과 있을 때는 절대 배울 수 없는 것들이다. 우리가 다가가고자 하는 사람들에 대해서 배우는 것 뿐 아니라, 우리 자신에 대해서 더 깊이 이해하게 되고, 하나님의 목적을 더 깊이 깨닫게 된다.
Around us, there are many visible and invisible boundaries. There are political borders, but there are also language and cultural barriers. Overcoming these barriers requires special efforts, and such efforts can feel awkward and uncomfortable. However, when we cross those boundaries, we receive special learning experiences. These are things we can never learn when we are with people in our familiar environment. It's not just about learning about the people we want to approach, but it's also about gaining a deeper understanding of ourselves and a deeper realization of God's purpose.
