A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful Duffryn residents, representatives, and businesses who joined us for our first quarterly community litter pick at Rabbit Hill Woods! It was truly a joy to meet everyone and hear your stories about your connections to our vibrant community.

What a fantastic morning it was! The community's support made a significant impact as we tackled a big clean-up effort. This event was made possible thanks to Newport City Council (NCC), who opened up a new area in the woods by removing invasive laurel. While much of the litter we collected had been hidden for years, we were excited to finally bring it to light and improve our beautiful woodland space.

Our community gatherings don’t stop here! We host various volunteer sessions most weeks, including nature recording, crafts, and woodland and orchard management. There’s always something happening, and we’d love for you to get involved.

Together, we can keep Duffryn clean and vibrant for all to enjoy!
