bring (sthg) into focus

The expression 'focus must be brought to the fact that…' is WRONG!!! Please, do not ever use it. 

(Probably you've taken it from this website or this Facebook page: it contains lots of mistakes. It is not just me saying that- native speakers (friends of mine, colleagues, and social media contacts) have confirmed that the texts this person suggests are full of mistakes. I have contacted them, warning them that her sample writing tasks should be changed, but they have paid no attention). 

The correct expression is 'bring something INTO focus' (or in the passive, 'something is brought into focus').  And, in fact, it doesn't even mean exactly what you mean. 

Any other options mentioned, for example, here, are  PLAIN WRONG!!! 


Alternatively, you can simply say: 

If you use it in the active voice, you could say…

People's right to have their pensions correctly calculated by their Government is brought into focus by a report from the National Audit Office, which…
