2024 Science Week VeX Game
2024 Science Week VeX Game
For science week 2024, the team decided to use the VEX robots as a way to get students of a younger demographic into STEM by playing small games with the bots. We were able to go to multiple elementary schools, and were able to meet so many people along the way, while also showing how STEM can be applied to many different activities.

Although we have decided to put VEX to the side for the time being, we still want to give appreciation and recognition for the time we were able to spend with the VEX games. On the right, we have pictures of past VEX robots made for some of the games.

Why VEX?
Why VEX?
VEX is important to our team, as an event before FRC, as a way for our rookies to learn, and just because its fun! When we say that VEX is a precursor to the FRC season, we explicitly mean that FRC is our main game. But VEX allows our rookies to build their own smaller, more personal robots, and in doing so they can learn how to properly use tools, think outside the box, and build problem solving skills. This allows them to build skills that they can bring into the FRC season.
