The team had went to pleasant grove high in Elk Grove, CA to participate in the Sacramento district event for Rebuilt. We had a rough time on setting up the robot's bumpers, intake, and shooters due to problems like a blown PDH(Power Distribution Hub), a broken shooter system, and a code that was still having gyro problems. In our 21st qualification match, team 1678(Citrus Circuits) had scored 757 points against us, setting the new high score in qualification matches. Though our robot was turned into a push-bot, we still got to enjoy seeing other teams with their robots.
The team had came to a decision to go to a practice match in Mountain view, CA to test our robot's movement, shooter & intake systems. On day one we were mostly testing movement of the swerve gears and to test the intake systems mobility. Test one stalled two gears, where two other gears had been moving, test two worked perfectly, and test three, we had didn't place the wires correctly and it had caught on fire for only less than two minutes. The team had learned a lot of things that should've been fixed before we went to scrimmage, though we did have fun.
The team had went to woodside high school, hosted by team 100(Wildhats) for an off-season competition. It was a difficult time since our elevator was not functioning well, our subsystem, the linkage arm was not working, the swerve drive's gyroscope was out of order, and we had played in 11 qualification matches and won only 2 matches. We still had fun.
The team created a robot to pick up a coral(wide PVC pipes), algae(rubber playground balls), and put them into a reef or a barge, then hang onto a cage(rectangle box bars) with its alliance. The team participated in the San Francisco regionals and the Contra Costa regionals.
