Note that a Meta Quest 3 (or 3s) needs to be charged, fully updated and logged in with the Meta Quest app on a phone. And you need a Meta account for this. The app can be found below...

If you have to connect to wifi in the school, you might experience problems connecting. We did a test in the university in Utrecht and Valencia using the Eduroam connection and did not connect. We had to switch to a personal hotspot of a phone.
If you connect a mobile phone to the wifi of your Eduroam, you then can create a hotspot for your headset(s) in the classroom. (just try it, who knows it might work)
Like on a PC or MAC, you need to use a web browser to enter the 3D islands of FrameVR. The Meta Quest Browser is the browser that is used for this. It must be the latest version so, if needed, update by clicking on the 3 dots at the right top and select: update (see image)
Go to the URL of the frame environment you want to visit. It might be a good idea to bookmark this...
Log in with your username and password by clicking on the icon at the right top.
To jump into 360 mode, click on the little 'headset' sign at the right bottom (see image)
It will take a few seconds to load and then you are in...
If you want to jump back to 2D, press the MENU button (most left button sunken in the handle of the left controller)
Note: We tried another browser called Wolvic. It works also, but that was not fast enough, it only gives you 2 frames per second.
You have to use the controllers to move around in FrameVR. Hand gestures are not supported yet.
Walking is actually jumping to another place by pushing the left joystick forward, it will show a bow, if you let go of the joystick you will jump to that spot.
Pushing the joystick to the left or right will turn your view.
Pushing the joystick to the back will step your view a bit back.
You microphone can be set on and off by selecting the menu on the left controller by pointing to it with the right controller. (see image)
BUG note (on voice): At this moment there is a bug so you can not switch mic on and off in 360 mode. You have to jump back to 2D, using the META button of your right hand controller, next activate voice which can take a few seconds. Then go back into 360 mode.
Recording a video in 360 is done by holding down the META button on the right controller and also press the trigger of this controller. A small red dot will appear in your screen.
You can stop the video doing the same, hold the META button and press the trigger.
The META button (most right button sunken in the handle of the right controller) opens the Quest browser in your 3D environment. When you have clicked on a link, this can be viewed in this browser. So if you want to check something on a website, you do not have to leave the environment.
When you want to close the extra browser, just click the META button again.
Check the video instructions below on how to log in...
