GETTING STARTED

The links below give you easy to follow information on how to start with FrameVR, simple instructions and videos that explain what and how to do it all.

You are just seven simple steps away from exploring the virtual environments/worlds/islands of FrameVR. On this page you learn the basics: how to enter the islands, create an account, move around, jump to other places and talk to other visitors. It's all very easy,  just follow the seven basic steps

Every user with an account can have three personal islands for free, with a capacity of 8 visitors per island. These are so called 'Trial' islands.  We show you how you can start using these islands, how to choose the right environment for your needs and what settings are important for education.

Placing your own content on your islands is not that difficult. You can upload your own images, PDF presentations, 3D objects, audio and video files. Besides that FrameVR provides additional tools like streaming screens, whiteboards, voice zones, a web browser and many other tools that can be placed and used within your island. One thing is a fact: placing these objects is easy. Below you will find several short video instructions about all assets that can be used.

With the Frame Tile Editor you can create your own 3D environments which you can upload to one of your islands. It is still a work in progress so it might break on you once or twice.  Click on the button to find out what we already know about this new feature.

FrameVR has an internal screen recorder to capture the things you do and say in the virtual area. It records all you do and speak and dumps the video in your 'downloads' folder. How this works is explained in this section.
