Katran was a research Fortu who had been isolated in the Linking Ward along with Darius at the end of the 4th Era.  During the tragic events at the 10th Plane when the Linking Ward was forcibly moved and damaged, Katran was permanently petrified and is no longer functional.

As a Research Fortu Katran had a broad base of knowledge and the skills to tackle any subject, but her particular areas of interest were:  Divinity and both Historical and Current Churches.
