The Fortu maintain a small outpost in Fire Mountain, reclaiming some of the rooms that were originally built into the mountain itself as lab space.  This area has been highly modified and warded to be a secure working location and base of operations for the Fortu in the area.

Fire Mountain itself is a location of power with many node lines and gates converging on the place. The Fortu outpost is hooked directly into these networks.
