A special Founders’ Day Dinner with Scholarship House Residents at the FSU’s Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship was held. The program was a history of the AΔK Scholarship House presented by Debby S. and Peggy H. During the treasurer’s report, Jan O. explained that pairs of elves or volunteers would shop for the holiday wish list of six children that AΔK is sponsoring as part of a holiday event of the Foster Care Program within the NWF Health Network (September’s altruistic project). Julie encouraged members to bring guests to our November crafting night meeting. Susan H. said five members will have a girls’ night out, attending the musical 9-5. She also showed the lantern members will be making at our November meeting.
