A few pictures of places I have been on my travels

This was our honeymoon trip to the Maldives in 2009

February 2009. Here with Thomas OZ1AA at Jumeirah Beach in Dubai with the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel in the background. Thomas was in transit returning from a 3500 km cycling trip across India. He has an excellent photo blog of his trip.

Wow! Where did 2008 go?? Looks like I have neglected this section for over a year.

September 2007. On the beach in Fujeirah, UAE, at the Hilton Hotel. Fujeirah is on the east coast of the UAE peninsular and so we are on the Indian Ocean. I'm with Rod Perry who is my manager, he lives near Salt Lake City in Utah, USA.

July 2007 I had a short trip back to Hong Kong and Macau for work. I was there over a weekend so took a train ride with Fedi from our HK office to Shenzen which is in China for some shopping. This is Shenzen main railway station.

Here I am, hard at work as ever! Filling up with petrol in Saudi Arabia between Al-Khobar and Riyadh in May 2006. Petrol costs the equivalent of 15p a litre. The price in Saudi was recently REDUCED by 30%. The water in the bottle Azad is holding cost three times as much as the petrol in the car.

This is the view on a clear day from "the Peak" on Hong Kong Island. The foreground buildings are on the island, those across the water are in Kowloon on the mainland. The Peak is often shrouded in clouds.

This is the Kingdom Tower in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is a very impressive building about 300m tall. At night it is lit in different colours.
