G4MBC
G4MBC is the callsign of the Mid Bed Contest Association.
We are a loosly associated group of contesters who get together from time to time to take part in amateur radio contests.
We have been more or less active since in 1985
Our members include G5LP, G4BJM, G4XRV, G4GIR and myself. Over the years we have been supported by G4ALR and his XYL, G4KQD.
Our club call is G4MBC and we also use GX4MBC, M7Z and in the past GB4DX and GB75DX
We do not hold regular meetings but we are a properly constitued club affiliated to RSGB
Our greatest acheivement was coming second in the Restricted Section of the RSGB's National Field day in 2002
