In this section we will talk about resources and the various forms they can take. Be it looting, crafting, trading or management, all will be discussed here in their own sections.

One of the most common trades in the post-war world is that of scavenging, sometimes also called prospecting. In the wasteland even those who deem themselves 'better than scavs' still always rely on the inflow of scavenged goods from such practices to keep their 'higher lives' running.
✦ Looting ✦
The most literal form of scavving, this is the means of scouring ruins of the old world in order to find bounties big and small. System wise one will be able to find loot chests scattered around the wastes.
✦ Scrapping ✦
More of a secondary step in the pipeline, scrapping is the act of taking goods to a 'Scrapping Station' in order to break it down into it's more baser parts for crafting.
✦ Fishing ✦
About what you'd expect this is the act of taking a good ol' fashion fishing rod and casting lines in repetition until you reel in enough of a haul for the day. Sometimes it even is known to yield some forgotten trinkets lost to the waters.
✦ Hunting ✦
You spend the day hunting down poor defenseless critters... and probably horrifying wasteland abominations. This trade leaves one killing such prey and as they drop into little more than a corpse, taking such to a butcher for... well butchering.
✦ Trapping ✦
A cousin of fishing and hunting, the act of trapping is a mean of taking hunting/fishing trap items and having them placed by a narrator in a means of creating random chance nodes of catching prey.
✦ Harvesting ✦
This is the means of finding semi-renewable resources to harvest. Be it farm, mine or logging setup this form of resource collection requires tools in order to bring a bounty of collected resources to the user.

Note: Crafting things is considered an in character thing so long as it's not a recipe just turning an unlore'd MC item into a lore'd one.

Our server makes use of custom crafting recipes for people to be able to make use of for their characters. The following will list which of such are available.

Molotov Cocktail (Unlit) - Craft with Gin/Whiskey/Rum/Vodka/Moonshine + Cloth
Book & Quill - Craft with pencil/pen/charcoal + book
Clipboard & Pencil - Craft with pencil + clipboard
Clipboard & Pen - Craft with pen + clipboard
Clipboard & Charcoal - Craft with charcoal + clipboard
GUN CLEANING KIT - (Shapeless) - Craft w/ leather x1, chemical x1, oil x1, cloth x1, small parts x1
Wet rags can be dried by crafting them into cloth.
Rusted Protectron Platings can be crafted with a paint can to paint it that color.
Painted Protectron Platings can be crafted by itself to remove the paint.
Any custom bottle can be crafted down into a MC bottle by putting it in a crafting ui.
Glass Bottles (MC) can be crafted into lore'd/textured glass bottles by putting it in the crafting ui.
Putting a glass bottle (MC) in the middle and bottom middle crafting slots will make two Liquor Bottles.
Putting a glass bottle (MC) in the middle and top right crafting slots will make two Nuka-Cola Bottles.
Putting a glass bottle (MC) in the middle and right crafting slots will make two Whiskey Bottles.
Bowl (MC) can be crafted into lore'd/textured wooden bowl by putting it in the crafting ui.
LIGHTER FLUID - (Shapeless) - Crafted w/ Oil x1, Scrap Metal x1
REPAIR KIT - (Shapeless) - Crafted w/ Scrap Metal x3, Plastic x2, Scrap Wood x1, Small Parts x2, Leather x1
CHARCOAL - (Furnace/Campfire/Smoker/Blast Furnace) - Crafted w/ Scrap Wood x1
DILUTED RADAWAY - (Shapeless) - RadAway x1, IV Bag x3, Water Bottle x1, Antiseptic x1
PURIFY FOODS - (Shapeless) - Irradiated Food x1, Iodine x1

Many Uncooked Meat can be cooked on a campfire.
Wet rags can be dried via furnace/campfire/smoker/blast furnace.
San Fancisco Sunlights can be lit via furnace/campfire/smoker/blast furnace.
Molotov Cocktails can be lit via furnace/campfire/smoker/blast furnace.
