The Legend known as the Vault Dweller defeats the evil Master and his army of unity. In his journey he is known to have saved future NCR president Tandy and defeated the raider group known as the Khans.
In their travel the vault dweller saves Necropolis from ruin, aids the Followers of the Apocalypse in their early years, brings stability to junk town and even has run ins with the brotherhood of steel.
This Legend of the wastes, despite saving his vault with a new water chip is banished to the wasteland due to having attuned to the wastes.
The Legend known as the Chosen One defeats the Enclave at their oil rig with the aid of their companions. Born as a tribal in the village of Arroyo and with the blood of the Vault Dweller in their veins they forge their path of legend.
The Chosen one, in their travels, pathes the path for the NCR's future expansion to places like Redding, Vault City and more. The survivors of Vault 13 and the bloodline of the Vault Dweller are eventually reunited in Arroyo and it's crops saved via the G.E.C.K.
Legends and myth seem to conflict in some cases on exactly what happened with the Midwestern Chapter of the Brotherhood of steel and the scale of many tales overplay the scale of the conflict.
What is known via evidence is that they came into conflict with remnants of the Master's Army, various tribes of the region and eventually the Calculator. This artificial intelligence was a real threat faced by the chapter that they were able to bring a stop to by brining a nuclear bomb to the place known as Vault 0. Some say that Vault 0 was under Cheyene Mountain clear down the Colorado, and local stories and the crater where it once stood seem to suggest this.
In the modern day it is said that tension brews between the remaining parts of this rogue chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel and rumors of a still active Enclave base in the region.
Legends and myth seem to conflict in some cases on exactly what happened with the Texan Chapter of the Brotherhood of steel and the exact events don't match all rumors.
What is known via evidence is there is or at least was a Texas Expedition lead to hunt down mutants that fled east, like that of the Midwestern chapter. The group was lead by one Paladin Rhombus. Little is known of this chapter's fate but some of the west-coast brotherhood came to calling them men who died to Rhombus's pipe-dreams.
Evidence shows of a "Lonestar" chapter who fought against mutants and abominations in texas - their methods pragmatic and crazy by normal brotherhood means, even recruiting ghouls into their ranks. Settlements of Texas such as Carbon, Los and more tell of the short lived expedition ripping through the area before disappearing in search of an experimental vault - though some in the Lonestar Confederation claim to descend from them.
The Legend known as Lone Wander emerges from their home of Vault 101 in search of their father. Their journey eventually leading down a path towards the defeat of the Enclave yet again.
In the course of this journey the Lone Wanderer brings clean water to the Capital Wasteland, peace to places like Megaton, Rivet City & Tenpenny Tower. Tales even tell of this peace being brought as far as places like the Pitt or even a small coastal island.
What is known however is that the actions of the Lone Wanderer brought order to this region of the wastes and also allowed the East Coast Chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel to prosper.
The Legend known as The Courier is a tale of bringing independence to the city of New Vegas. Originally a tale of a mailman who managed to survive a gunshot to the head on a path of revenge, this tale would turn to the fall of two empires and the former owner of the strip.
In this journey this Courier would interact with groups like that of the local Brotherhood Chapter, Enclave Remnants, Followers of the Apocalypse, Boomers, and to towns like Goodsprings, Prim, Novac, Jacobstown, Freeside and more.
They'd allow the Khans to make their way out of the mojave and into the plains of Wyoming, Crush the savage fiends to the last man, Bring a cure to the Nightkin, aid the Bright Followers on their journey, slay the Powder Ganger scourge, and bring aid to the poor of the region above all else.
They'd stop dangers of the waste like the Think Tank, Tunnlers, Red Mist and old stores of nuclear wastes from harming any more. Some even say the Courier can call down pillars of wrath from the sky upon those who would threaten this peace they so masterfully orchestrated for the region with the aid of their companions.
Ultimately nobody truly won the battle of Hoover Dam, the Mojave was simply left a shell of what it once was.
The Legend known as The Sole Survivor or General of the Minutemen. Once a tale of a parent out of time searching for a stolen child, this story would turn into a tale that would shape the region known Commonwealth.
This figure would lead the Minutemen to create countless settlements across the region and bolster it's growth. They'd destroy the morally corrupt Institute and bring peace to the region with the aid of the East Coast Brotherhood of steel - though some say that they also aided the disappearance of the Synth Railroad and let all inhabitants that could flee the institute.
The Sole Survivor would bring peace to all they could forge it within the region from their Castle headquarters, and even to regions as far as Far Harbor. They'd end the Mechanist scourge and bring all raider factions to ruin or running over the mountains.
The Leader of this faction, with the aid of their companions would go on to foster peace and order in the region. In past years since this even the Minutemen fighting a war with the mercenary company known as the the Gunners, this conflict having sparked just after the group had a prolonged engagement with a large raider faction in the pre-war nuka-world.
The Vault Dwellers of Vault 76 would find themselves taking on countless tasks within the region known as Appalachia, many of these tales lost to time due to the age in which they happened. What is known however is their quelling of a sickness known as the Scorched Plague.
