OUR SITE IS CURRENTLY A WORK IN PROGRESS, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE
Here we'll discuss the steps of how to get started on the Fallout: Wild Country MCRP server. This page serving as a good guide on what to do, how to do it and similar. If you have a question that's not found here feel free to ask the appropriate staff for aid by putting in a support ticket.
✦ Join our Discord ✦
If you haven't already we require a user to join our discord server in order to take part in our community. You'll be able to find a link to that discord server here: https://discord.gg/tR9xP6Rpxc
✦ Explore the site ✦
We recommend having a look around the site to read the rules fully and at least look over things like our lore archive as well as systems & mechanics area to prepare for play!
✦ Apply for Whitelist ✦
Once such is done, give a go at applying for whitelist, you'll be able to find a template for such at the bottom category of our discord named 'The Hub'. There you'll find a tab for applications and you can proceed from there! Staff will review it as soon as they can and hopefully you'll be right on your way to playing!
✦ Get the technical side squared away ✦
While waiting on your whitelist application let's get you prepared for the technical side of our server. You only need three things to join us in playing.
A legal copy of Minecraft: Self explainatory, this is a minecraft copy so you'll need to be able to play minecraft. Our current version is 1.21.4
https://www.minecraft.net/en-us
Our Resource Pack: We have a collection of added assets with our pack, like custom models for guns, pipboys and
more. This is provided in our resource area of the discord for you to equip along with any extra addons we might add in the future.
Mods: Our resource pack makes use of 'custom model data' in such a way that it requires a modded game with a MCPatcher equivalent for such. Personally we recommend the east to use Curse Launcher but that's just us. For Fabric you need the Sodim & Iris Shaders addons. Along with these we also make use of a mod called 'Figura' for custom player models to be used.
Step by step guide: (CurseForge Profile)
1. Download & Install the Curse Launcher: https://www.curseforge.com/download/app
2. Open the CurseForge Launcher
3. Download the CurseForge Profile: (Found in Discord)
4. Click the "Import" button at the top of the "My Modpacks" tab.
5. Click "Choose .zip file" and select the downloaded CurseForge Profile
6. Finish the Install of the CurseForge Profile & Click play
7. Profit!
Step by step guide: (Manually)
1. Download & Install the Curse Launcher: https://www.curseforge.com/download/app

✦ Brainstorming ✦
Take your time and come up with the character you'd to play on our fallout community. Note our rules and make sure it'll be fun to play and have around!
✦ Character Application ✦
Once you're Whitelisted and have a solid character idea in mind you'll be able to go down into the 'The Hub' area of the discord again and now select the forum channel called 'character-apps' here you'll copy the format of the 'Application Template' pinned to the top of the forum and make a new post following such. The staff team will then review this as soon as possible and make a channel and character sheet (a google sheet) for you on the discord!
✦ Where to go from here ✦
Once you've gotten yourself whitelisted, your technical side figured out and a character application accepted you'll be able to play! So just grab the IP (found at the top of every page on the site) and come play! In time you'll even possibly level up your character and make many stories along the way!
