CFC offers community-based social and educational services to low-income families in Houston’s East End. Since its inception in 1972, CFC has grown to an agency with an annual budget exceeding $2.6 million and serves more than 24,000 clients each year.
Implement a structured learning component for the participants in Employment and Workforce Services Digital Literacy initiative.
Implement a well-defined schedule of service hours including in-person and remote sessions.
Perform all tasks assigned so long as they are in keeping with the mission, purposes, and goals of the agency.
Create a welcoming learning environment.
Share clear objectives and expectations for lessons, topics, and assignments.
Lead in-person or online classes through the prescribed curriculum and Digital Literacy Platform.
Collaborate with community organizations to identify potential learners and promote digital literacy initiatives, reaching diverse populations.
High School Graduate or GED
Attending College or College Degree
Bilingual/Bicultural, Spanish/English (a plus)
Good writing/communication skills
Willing to work flexible hours
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational & interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to plan and organize work in a time-efficient manner
Computer and Copy Machine skills needed
Computer skills with 365, Word, excel, etc.
Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in entering data
