CFC offers community-based social and educational services to low-income families in Houston’s East End. Since its inception in 1972, CFC has grown to an agency with an annual budget exceeding $2.6 million and serves more than 24,000 clients each year.
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering and updating data into computer systems and databases. This role supports the team by maintaining organized and up-to-date records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Accurately enter and update data in databases or spreadsheets
Review data for errors or inconsistencies and correct as needed
Maintain data confidentiality and follow company policies
Perform regular backups and data integrity checks
Support other administrative tasks as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of experience in an office or clerical setting (preferred but not required)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic data entry software
Strong typing skills (40+ WPM preferred)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
