Tamir Rice was just 12 when he was killed. He was playing in a park in Cleveland when the police (Timothy Loehmann) showed up and shot him after mistaking his toy gun was a real weapon. This accusation is widely disbelieved as toy guns look drastically different then real guns. (toy guns have orange tips) Instead of an act of self defense (as the officer claimed) this was a direct attack on a CHILD. The evidence was not enough to convict the officer. Timothy Loehmann is still free and Tamir Rice is gone.
