Philando Castile died 6/6/16 in Minnesota. Castile was killed while reaching for his drivers license. He had informed the police officer (Jeronimo Yanez) that he had a gun but was not going to reach for it. (Castile had a license to carry the gun) Yanez then shot Castile 5 times in front of his girlfriend and young daughter.

The artist Dre Castile with the halo of America around his head. This symbolizes his unjust murder and the loss of an innocent life not unlike the saints of the past.
