46 year old George Floyd was suspected of passing a counterfeit 20$ bill. He was taken into police custody with out resistance. He died while Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck. He continued to do this after George lost consciousness for a total of 9 minutes. Derek Chauvin was initially charged with 3rd degree murder and 2nd degree manslaughter but due to numerous protests held nationally another charge of 2nd degree murder has been added. Along with charges to the other 3 police officers at the scene. Our voices are being heard, keep saying their names we are louder together.
