In 2004, Facebook made its appearance online in the United States. After growing at a blistering pace, it now welcomes billions of users every day. Who would have thought?
Now, in 2019, this same social network allows us to chat with our friends, post photos, videos, and a host of articles, interact with our favourite businesses, look up all kinds of information, take part in countless contests, and even buy products online.
Although free for its users, this platform is becoming increasingly costly for businesses. Facebook is constantly evolving, and so is the much-discussed “Facebook algorithm,” which sometimes increases the visibility of posts by users’ friends, and at other times significantly decreases the visibility of posts by businesses.
