Compile your data

Why not prepare an Excel spreadsheet for compiling weekly or monthly data? This will allow you to assess the performance of your social media activity.

Exporting data from Facebook is simple.

For example, at the end of each month, you can compile the following:

• Total number of fans
• Number of new fans
• Reach and impressions
• Number of posts
• Number of interactions on your posts (likes, comments, shares)
• Number of people who interacted with your posts
• Average interaction rate (calculate as “people who interacted ÷ reach”)
