Putting into Action:
***For this Assignment you will be doing it in a class by yourself.
1. Dessert vs Main Course: This is the philosophy that is the best way to do a PBL project. It is to do it in reverse order.
Students are more excited to do the project than they are to do worksheets or listen to lectures. By showing a student example of possible projects and explaining what the final is first, they are more likely to engage in the learning. As part of Problem Based Learning, students will use their own passions to solve a real-world problem. Using the following steps students will create a PBL project.
Present or identify the problem.
Develop a plan to solve the problem.
Implement the plan.
Evaluate the implementation of the plan.
2. Once a student has begun the project the Main Course comes into play. Students are slowly provided worksheets, lectures, brainstorming, discussions, and so on. The work that is typically done before a project is now added after the project has begun.
1. Visit the Padlet website and create an account. Padlet: You are beautiful .

2. Create a project for students based on the concept of Dessert vs Main Course. The project should focus on the outcome that will incorporate the student's passions to solve real-world problems. Using the TPACK framework to add technology as a way to support and build learning rather than simply "tack on" technology.
3. Using Padlet create an example of what a student's project may look like. Include images, notes, and a 2-3 minute video explaining one part of the topic. At least 5 items should be added to your Padlet.
4. Share your work in the discussions.
