Hello, dear students and parents!

I’m Teacher Rachel, a Licensed Professional Teacher from the Philippines and a graduate of Cebu Normal University, where I earned my degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education (Major in Science).

For the past year, I have had the privilege of teaching various students at Gamcho English, guiding them in Science, English communication, reading, and writing. This experience has allowed me to connect with learners of different ages and backgrounds, helping each one grow in confidence and skill.

I believe that learning becomes truly powerful when curiosity is nurtured and confidence is built along the way. My teaching blends academic rigor with creativity and warmth, helping students enjoy learning while developing strong thinking and communication skills.

In my classes, students don’t just memorize information—they explore, question, explain, and express. Whether we are discovering how ecosystems work, practicing clear English communication, or engaging with stories and writing, I make sure each lesson is meaningful, interactive, and tailored to the learner.

At Gamcho English, I am excited to support students in Science, Speaking, Reading, and Writing, guiding them to grow not only academically but also in confidence and curiosity. I look forward to learning and growing together with you in class.

MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

I believe education is not only about mastering content, but about nurturing lifelong learners who are curious, confident, and empowered.

My teaching is grounded in Constructivist and Inquiry-Based Learning, where students actively build understanding through exploration and reflection. I design my lessons around the following core principles:

Active and Connected Learning - Students learn best when they explore and try things themselves. I make lessons hands-on and link them to real life, so learning feels useful and fun.
Supportive Growth Environment - I celebrate effort and progress to build confidence. Mistakes are seen as part of learning, helping students stay curious and resilient.
Holistic Learning - I combine Science, Communication, and Literature so students can think critically, connect ideas, and understand the world more deeply.
