TEACHING WITH PATIENCE, KINDNESS, AND A HEART FOR EVERY LEARNER
Hello dear parents and students,
I am Teacher Pau, and it is an honor to be part of your English journey here at Gamcho English. I have experience teaching English to learners of different ages and backgrounds. Whether classes are online or onsite, I am happy and confident to teach in both settings.
With a background in Bachelor of Special Needs Education, I am especially passionate about inclusive teaching. I believe that learning should be meaningful, interactive, and enjoyable for every learner. In my class, I make sure my students get plenty of opportunities to practice speaking, even in the simplest ways. I’m patient and happy to guide them all throughout the lesson.
Nothing makes me prouder as a teacher than witnessing my students’ progress and achievements. Helping them grow is always my goal.
PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND TEACHING EXPERTISE
Ever since I was young, I have always been an excellent student and a natural leader. I used to help my classmates with homework and exam reviews, and even helped my 40-year-old neighbor improve her English so she could pass her driver’s license test. I also had the opportunity to teach a child with Autism and ADHD in English, Science, Mathematics, and Daily Living skills. Back then, I didn’t realize that I already had a gift for teaching.
Over the years, I gained experience teaching ESL in onsite, one-on-one classes with Japanese students aged 16 to 44, helping them explore the English language more deeply and build confidence in themselves. I also worked as an online ESL teacher for Chinese students aged 6 to 10, guiding them from learning the basic ABCs to forming their first sentences. It has been such a privilege to teach and be part of my students’ growth.
All of these experiences shaped me into a teacher whose number one goal is to help students improve their skills and build confidence in themselves.
MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
"It's Okay"
From my experience, students often pressure themselves to be perfect right away. But learning a new language takes time. Some may progress in months, others in years—and that’s okay.

"I'm sorry for learning slow." – I would say, "It's Okay, take your time."

"I'm sorry I don't understand." – I would say, "It's Okay, I will explain it in a simpler way."

And many more conversations like this—I always reply with an "It's Okay." Growth takes time, and time takes patience. As a teacher, patience is my best friend. I believe in encouraging my students every step of the way, celebrating small victories, and creating a safe space where it’s okay to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at your own pace. After all, learning is a journey, and I am here to guide, support, and cheer for every step forward.
