Hello parents and students,

I am Teacher Andrea, and I am so glad to be part of your learning team here at Gamcho English. My journey in education is built on my studies in Bachelor of Elementary Education at Cebu Normal University, where I learned how to make lessons clear and effective for different types of learners.

I believe that English is a skill that grows best in a positive and active environment. Because of my background, I design my lessons to be all-around and easy to follow, focusing on how students can actually use English in their daily lives. My goal is to make sure every student feels capable and proud of their progress in every single session. I am ready to help you reach your goals and gain confidence in English!

My dedication to the teaching profession is rooted in a desire to provide quality education that is accessible and easy to understand. By training at Cebu Normal University, I have gained a deep understanding of child psychology and the most effective ways to manage a classroom. I am constantly looking for new ways to improve my craft so that my students receive the best possible guidance.

I have always loved teaching. In fact, I started by being the very first teacher for my own brother and cousins, tutoring them every summer vacation to give them a head start in school. Professionally, I have focused on helping incoming Grade 2 students develop their reading and language skills, and I have even spent time guiding parents on how to better support their children's growth at home.

I have a strong background in helping students prepare for higher grade levels. I specialize in making sure learners are not just reading, but truly understanding the English language, which helps them succeed in all their other school subjects.

Parent-Teacher Partnership

I have experience working directly with families to bridge the gap between the classroom and the home. By providing parenting guidance, I help ensure that the student’s learning doesn't stop when the class ends.

Adaptive Teaching

Having started as a tutor for my own family, I have developed a unique ability to stay patient and calm. This experience helped me learn how to change my teaching style on the spot to keep a child engaged, focused, and motivated throughout the hour.

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe that “Happy Students Learn Faster.” When children feel safe to make mistakes, they learn more effectively and with greater joy. My goal is to build confidence in every student so they feel proud each time they speak English, knowing that progress comes from practice and participation.

I focus on creating lessons that are engaging, supportive, and age-appropriate, helping students connect English to their daily lives. By celebrating small successes and encouraging active involvement, I nurture not only language skills but also a love for learning that empowers students to grow with confidence.
