Connecting Past, Present, and Future Through Inquiry and Engagement
Greetings to our dear students and respected parents.
I am Teacher Eunice, and for the past eight months, I've had the pleasure of being part of Gamcho English. Throughout this time, I have witnessed remarkable growth and enthusiasm from my students.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the parents' continued trust and support, which greatly contribute to the success and value of our classes.
Commitment to Professional Growth & Teaching Excellence
As a Social Studies major, I believe that education goes beyond memorizing dates and facts; it's about understanding our shared human story, recognizing patterns in history, and empowering students to become thoughtful, active participants in shaping a better world.
My classes are designed to be interactive, thought-provoking, and tailored to each learner's unique needs. Whether we're examining primary sources, debating global challenges, or crafting persuasive arguments, I make sure every lesson is meaningful, engaging, and connected to the real world. I believe learning should inspire curiosity and empower action—and that every student deserves to feel valued, heard, and equipped to make a difference.
As I continue to grow as an educator, I've been attending international webinars to enhanced my teaching qualities. Moreover, I'm planning to advance my skills through a master's degree program to deepen my understanding on how to teach social studies effectively to students of all ages. This commitment to learning means I bring fresh insights and research-based methods to every class.
Here at Gamcho English, I'm excited to help you build your skills in Social Studies, Critical Thinking, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Let's work together to unlock your potential and become informed, responsible citizens!
MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
As a Social Studies educator, I embrace Inquiry-Based Learning and Critical Pedagogy, where students actively construct understanding through investigation, discussion, and reflection. My approach centers on developing informed, responsible, and active citizens by connecting past, present, and future through diverse perspectives and real-world engagement.
My teaching is guided by these core principles:
Critical Thinking & Analysis: I cultivate skills for examining sources, questioning assumptions, and forming evidence-based conclusions—essential tools for navigating complex issues.
Interdisciplinary Integration: I blend History, Geography, Economics, Civics, and Culture with Reading, Writing, and Speaking to foster holistic understanding and communication.
Real-World Connection: I connect historical events to current issues and help students see their role in shaping communities and society.
Diverse Perspectives: I honor multiple viewpoints and cultural contexts, encouraging students to appreciate complexity and develop empathy.
Civic Empowerment: I inspire students to understand their rights, responsibilities, and capacity to influence positive change.
I believe that education is not just about learning facts—it's about developing informed citizens who can think critically, communicate effectively, and act responsibly in an interconnected world.
