Learn History and English
in a fun and meaningful way!
My name is Teacher Jay, and I am delighted to introduce myself as an English as a Second Language (ESL) and History teacher. I come from the vibrant city of Toledo, Cebu, Philippines, a place rich in culture and stories that inspired my passion for language, history, and lifelong learning.
As an ESL teacher, I believe that learning English should be fun, interactive, and meaningful. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident expressing themselves through conversations, real-life situations, and creative activities. My goal is to help learners not only understand English but also use it naturally and confidently in everyday life.
As a History teacher, I strive to bring the past to life. I help students explore how historical events, people, and cultures shape the world we live in today. By connecting historical lessons to modern experiences, I make History engaging, relevant, and inspiring for every learner.
Whether your goal is to strengthen your English communication skills or to discover the fascinating stories of History, I will be here to guide and support you every step of the way. My mission is to help students learn with confidence, curiosity, and excitement.
✨ Let’s make learning an adventure together!
I look forward to meeting you and beginning this meaningful journey of growth and discovery.

I believe that education should empower students. Learning becomes meaningful when students feel safe, respected, and motivated to participate. My teaching philosophy centers on the idea that every learner is capable of growth when guided with patience, encouragement, and purpose.
I view teaching as a partnership between the teacher and the student—one that fosters confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking. By integrating real-life experiences, interactive lessons, and cultural awareness, I help students connect what they learn in class to the world around them.
