Please read below for information on the Expert Response Officer!
Overview
The Expert Response Officer (ERO) is a Elite rank within the Emergency Response Patrol Team (ERPT), granted to officers who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and experience within the division. EROs hold a respected status, with access to exclusive perks and privileges. However, this role comes with reduced responsibilities compared to other ranks (SRO,ARO), particularly in training and mentoring duties.
As an ERO, you are expected to maintain high standards of professionalism while benefiting from a position of authority within the team. While you are not actively responsible for conducting trainings or inductions, you continue to enjoy a high level of influence and respect within ERPT.
Leadership at Scenes: As an ERO, you may take on leadership roles in emergency situations, acting as a Commanding Officer to manage scenes effectively. However, this is optional and not required for your role.
No Training or Mentorship: EROs are not responsible for conducting or leading any training sessions. The role no longer includes mentoring new officers, providing inductions, or running department-specific training. These duties are now handled by other ranks within ERPT.
Positioning in the Roster: EROs are placed at the bottom of the roster, beneath all other active officers. Despite this, the rank holds significant authority and respect within the team.
Callsigns: As an ERO, you have the freedom to choose your callsign (e.g., [CN-111]) to personalize your identity within ERPT.
To be eligible for promotion to Expert Response Officer (ERO), you must have previously served in a command role within ERPT, such as in ERPT Command or TSG Command. This ensures that EROs have significant leadership experience before reaching this prestigious rank.
Authority: You retain the ability to authorize Low-Speed Tactical Contacts, giving you decision-making power in certain situations.
Comp Exemption: EROs are exempt from regular completion tasks but can still choose to participate for points if desired.
Specialized Clothing: You gain access to ARO/SRT/ERO uniforms, allowing you to wear specialized gear that reflects your rank and role.
Mentorship Perks: While you no longer actively mentor, you still retain the privileges and authority previously associated with the mentor role.
SRT Perks: You will have all the perks of an SRT officer.
Professionalism: EROs are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. Your actions reflect the standards of ERPT, and you are a model of leadership within the team.
Minimum Active Duty: You must complete a minimum of 3.5 hours of active duty within a given period. Failing to meet this requirement at least once will result in demotion to Senior Response Officer (SRO).
One-Strike System: EROs follow a 1-strike system. Any serious misconduct or failure to maintain the high standards required will result in a strike, leading to a demotion if a second strike is received.
The Expert Response Officer (ERO) is a prestigious and influential rank that comes with significant authority and privileges within the ERPT. While no longer responsible for training or mentoring duties, EROs are respected leaders who maintain a professional standard within the division. EROs are positioned at the bottom of the roster, but still carry the authority to make key decisions and represent ERPT at the highest levels.
