In your capacity as a Response Officer, your primary responsibility is to promptly attend to 999 calls and respond to distress signals from fellow officers. It is crucial to effectively manage and contain scenes, ensuring the safety of the public by keeping them away from potential danger. Contributing to the reduction of crime rates is a key aspect of your role, achieved through the apprehension of criminals and their subsequent removal from the streets of CMG, all while adhering to established laws and protocols. Your commitment to maintaining public safety and upholding the law is integral to the success of your role as a Response Officer.
To be considered for promotion to Senior Officer within ERPT, you must have served as a Response Officer for a minimum of four weeks with consistent hours during that period. Once this requirement is met, the command team will review the division and assess which officers have demonstrated the qualities and performance deserving of promotion. You may also fill out a promotion request form if you believe the command team may have missed your contributions.
