As a member of the Specialist Response Team(SRT), your role extends beyond that of an Advanced Response Officer, involving additional responsibilities. You are expected to actively participate in Advanced Response Officer Inductions, demonstrating leadership and guidance for new Advanced Response Officers. This involves welcoming new Advanced Response Officers and instructing them on the process of training others.
To fulfil this responsibility, you will be required to lead new Advanced Response Officers through the Training documents, providing practical insights and demonstrating how to complete the associated completion forms. Your involvement in these inductions contributes to the effective training and integration of new members within the Senior Response Officer ranks.
As mentioned earlier there are more responsibilities you take up as SRT than being an Advanced officer. You will be expected to take part in:
Scene Containment Training
DSU Training
Advanced Response Officer Inductions
Basic Response Officer Inductions
Horse Training
Custody Sergeant Training
All necessary information on how to conduct these trainings will be given to you once you reach the rank of SRT. As a member of the Senior Response Team, you will need to have 1 completion per week.
