The Tactical Containment Team or more commonly known as TCT is a specialist and tactical support unit within ERPT. Within this unit, officers are trained to the highest level within the police force whilst assisting CTSFO with their high risk operations. Some of the roles undertaken by TCT include, but are not limited to:
Securing the scene surrounding the operational zone
Deploying stingers (spike strips) to ensure that fleeing suspects are unable to escape easily
Managing the suspect extractions and making sure they are safely taken to the CTSFO Drivers.
Going into the area if things turn hostile post-gunfight to make sure all evidence is secured and suspects are up on their feet ready for extraction.
Ensuring that nobody comes in or out, avoiding interjection by a third party such as vigilantes, random civilians or another gang, essentially acting as that first line of defence.

Have ALL Mandatory Trainings Completed, even Glock. - Mandatory

If you feel as if you fit this criteria and submit an application, you will then do your induction and then your training, if you pass the training you will be a member of TCT.

Specialist TCT
The Senior Most TCT officer on scene who are expected to take leadership when at this rank and will be in charge of organising the TCT on Scene. Specialist TCT are expected to carry out TCT inductions and assist command in trainings. You can also be SMG trained at this rank [must only be used in operations] along with PAVA Spray trained and specialist members are on a 1 strike system.
Senior TCT
Senior TCT officers are also expected to show leadership in order to get a possible promotion to specialist TCT. Senior TCT officers can also get PAVA Spray trained. You are also permitted to use a shotgun if you are SGT+.
Junior TCT
Junior TCT is the base rank of the division where you are learning the ropes of all the procedures and duties. While your a Junior TCT you can carry your glock [if trained] and must be following senior & specialist's lead while on scenes and assisting where possible.
Ability to attend operations as dedicated to ERPT CT Support.
Gives officers an increased chance of being accepted into SCO-19.
Ability to use certain perks that you would not normally have.
Increased chances of a promotion within ERPT if seen doing well within your role.
Gives ERPT officers something fun and different to get involved away from their regular patrois.

You must be Response officer + to take part within the TCT training.
Must only use the specific perks for this role within operations, not on patrol. For example, SMG & PAVA Spray.
You must wear the correct TCT uniform assigned to your rank.
Any abuse of PAVA Spray will be met with a immediate punishment & a possible removal from TCT.
