What to Look For

When selecting a new Solution there are certain considerations to think about:

  • Ability for the end user to be as self-reliant/ self-serve as possible

  • The solution is configurable without impact upgrades

  • Multi-tenant cloud is better than on-premise individual instance

  • Ability for the application to be interoperable/ loosely coupled with the existing architecture/ other solutions

  • The solution takes into account security and privacy by design

  • The following leverages solutions outside of the application:

    • Integration. Need a way to get in/out of the application using published APIs and using integration orchestration from an enterprise tool

    • Data & Analytics (enterprise reporting is consolidated outside of the application). Production reporting sits within the application.

    • Identity and Access Management can be leveraged from outside the application
