I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Elizabeth Chan for taking the initiative to create an invaluable series of Mandarin Arbitration Salon. Her efforts in bringing together established practitioners and scholars in international arbitration to discuss current developments and issues have been a tremendous contribution to our professional growth.
The opportunity to hear from experienced professionals from around the world and engage in discussions on current issues has been particularly beneficial. Since the middle of my LLM degree, I have gained valuable insights and perspectives that have expanded my understanding of international arbitration and enhanced my professional skills.
Furthermore, her dedication to helping us maintain our Chinese language skills is an invaluable asset. The efforts to help us improve our language proficiency demonstrate her commitment to providing holistic mentorship that will serve us well throughout our careers.
I strongly believe that this series will also be a great opportunity for fresh graduates and current students to stay up-to-date on new issues and research topics.
Thank you again for providing us with such a valuable platform!

Thank you so much for organizing this lovely event and especially, I really appreciate your self-driven initiatives and your ability to organize so consistently in such a neat, professional manner.
It might be easier to start something for a few times; but it makes a real difference, to continue and persist! It is so inspiring and I learnt a lot.

Thank you to Elizabeth for her wonderful organization of Mandarin Arbitration Salon!
I really enjoyed the session and for me the one-hour slot was not enough. I really impressed by the diversitied group.
We discussed my "go and back" stories as well as the latest development of arbitration, mediation and dispute resolution in China and globally.
I cannot wait for the 2nd Round for the Salon!

I am very delighted to have been a part of the Chinese Arbitration Conversation. It is a great pleasure to have such an opportunity to share with young arbitration practitioners some memorable stories about working life at the Shanghai International Arbitration Center, one of the leading arbitration institutions in China. I owe a particular debt to Elizabeth Chan (陳曉彤) for her invitation and considerate organization, and I look forward to further collaboration with Young ICCA.

Over the past several months, this series of events- Mandarin Arbitration Salon and Chinese Arbitration Conversations- has accompanied me from London to Beijing.
These sessions kept me informed of development in Asian arbitration while I was in London and provided us with the opportunities to engage more closely and in-depth with speakers through online, closed-door communication.
Speakers come from different sectors related to arbitration with various educational and practical backgrounds.
Each event gave me a unique takeaway: the insight of the speakers broadened my understanding of the industry; the experiences of the speakers enriched my imagination of career choices; the speaker's determination and resilience instilled patience and confidence in me when I was hesitant to take the next step in my career.
Meanwhile, other participants are young practitioners from different jurisdictions, and the Salon is a platform for us to get to know each other and further communicate.
Thank you for letting me see a more diverse world.

I am writing to say thank you for organizing such informative, interesting salons for young people interested in arbitration and other topics like me.
It is rare oppotunity to talk to 大佬们 in the industry face to face. And I believe it is voluntary, which make it even remarkable.
I wish I can experience more and learn more from you and every guests. Thank you again for everything you do.
