This former eye clinic was in poor condition, built in 1980 with minimal upkeep during its prior ownership. The structure was usable, but the failing exterior needed an overhaul. The siding, roofing, doors and windows were at the end of their lifespan.
The goal was a professional office and training center designed within the building’s existing footprint with multiple meeting rooms and offices. Parking and storage were also major priorities.
The result is a modern display of craftsmanship from top to bottom.
The first two levels were designed for ultimate workflow, featuring a reception area, six offices, two meeting rooms, three bathrooms, and one large classroom.
The basement level includes a laundry room, accessible bathroom, workspace, and three garage bays for equipment and supply storage. Above the garage is a new rooftop deck with an accessible ramp.
The interior features a mix of commercial materials and residential styling. Guests are greeted by the colorful wallpaper at reception. The kitchen pops with the 3D marine-blue tile backsplash, and the island's fir slab atop the three-sided waterfall quartz adds that PNW feel.
The main floor’s ADA bathroom has a coastal vibe, with white shiplap walls and blue Marmoleum floors. New utilities, EV chargers, and LED lighting are included throughout. This modernized building will elevate the client's business for years to come.
