Water Sprite

This beautiful triangular shawl is both a striking accessory to wear and an easy slipped stitches project to knit! 

The ripples pattern, flowing in different directions from the centre spine, highlights the contrasting colours and showcases the beauty of hand dyed yarns. Using only two colours and cosy and warm to wear, it is a playful knit, and the simple rippling pattern can get quite addictive! 

The pretty picot edging adds the final touch to this fun, and beautifully eye catching knitting project! 

Water Sprite measures approx. 170 cm x 80 cm at widest points, after blocking and only uses 2 skeins of 4-ply / fingering weight yarn  (sample pictured was made with My Mama Knits Choufunga 4ply / sock yarn: 75% Superwash Merino Wool, 25% Nylon (425m / 465yds per 100g) in “Velvet Painted Bouquet”  and Bow Fiddle Yarns 4ply / Fingering Weight: 100% Superwash Merino (400m / 437yds per 100g) in “Bravocado”
