Outer Space

With its colourful and eerie windmill-like swirling planets surrounded by lots of beautiful "moons", and its colourful "Starbust stitch" border, Outer Space is sure to keep you entertained as you crochet!

Larger than a conventional lap blanket at 125 cm x 95 cm, Outer Space is the perfect size to cosy up. Each of the central squares are worked separately, then joined together using the Join-As-You-Go crochet technique, and the remainder of the blanket is worked in the round.

Outer Space uses only 600g of 4ply, 300g for the background / solid colour, and 3 x 100g skeins of Bow Fiddle Yarns 4ply Zebra (100% Superwash Merino - 400m per 100g) in 3 different shades: "Copper Dog", "It's Time To Fall In Love" and  "Undyed". The backgound colour used for this sample is Drops Baby Merino (175m per 50g) in "Black" (021).
