Snowy Eildons

This very soft and warm set of pretty hat and mittens will keep you cosy when hill walking, featuring  the iconic landmark of the Scottish Borders, whether you are hiking or just out for a stroll!..

Made in beautiful pure baby alpaca wool, and showing the Eildon Hills in a peaceful wintery setting, the hat and mittens are quick and enjoyable knitting projects, made in the round from bottom to top, and all two-colours sections are fully charted for an easy knitting experience.

The hat measures approximately 20" circumference x 9" deep (the yarn is by nature very stretchy, and the rib brim adds to the elasticity of the hat, which fits up to 24") and the mittens are made to fit medium sized hands, and measure 8.5" x 3.5" after blocking (they are also very stretchy and can easily fit larger hands).

The whole set is made using only 2 skeins of Unwind Yarns Daydream DK (100% baby alpaca wool, 246 yds / 225m per 100g), one of each in "Mineral (Light Colour) and "Midnight" (Dark Colour).
