Throughout the 14 weeks of the Doctoral Experiential project, this student sought to enrich her personal knowledge, gain experience in a collaborative consulting role, provide assistance through this role to the DEx sites and the Springfield community, and gain a clinical understanding of telehealth occupational therapy delivery, primarily in a pediatric group setting. This was achieved through a multitude of activities throughout the DEx.

This Community Experiential Component includes activities and time spent working towards assisting the community site and developing personal and professional skills. It was intended to be in-person, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all experiential time was spent remotely developing a completing continuing education, observations, meetings, and developing supportive resource packets for our DEx sites.

The Individual Scholarly Component includes activities specific to this DEx student, and is intended to support the Community Experiential Component. This student assisted in planning and facilitiating a weekly playgroup for Lisa Pasternak and her clients in BHN early intervention.
