The SLLN Podcast

In January 2022, I started a website to collect resources and information about free upcoming PD that school librarians could use. The School Librarian Learning Network (SLLN) website was founded as a way to help bring school librarians together to learn from and with each other.

In September 2022, I was invited to host Season 2 of School Library Connection's (SLC's) One Lesson at a Time podcast, taking over hosting duties from Courtney Pentland. When SLC folded in 2023, I quickly realized that I missed speaking with school librarians about their favorite lessons. After some consultation with school library podcast all-star Amy Hermon (School Librarians United), I carried the format of One Lesson at a Time over to my own show, the SLLN Podcast.

When I kicked off the SLLN Podcast in October 2023, my plan was to do monthly episodes. But I received such a wealth of interest from librarians looking to share that we quickly went weekly episodes.
