Digital Picture Book

For a class on children's literature, I had the opportunity to create my own digital picture book. This was an excellent experience; I gained some insights into tools that can be harnessed by educators and students alike to share their own messages and ideas. The artwork was provided through Storybird, an online service that lets artists post their work for use by writers. I wrote the story. The process was somewhat difficult, as the range of art was somewhat limited, and rarely matched exactly what I saw in my head. However, this forced me to be more creative in my storytelling. I think the final product turned out quite well!
