Cirque du Soleil

In 2005 and 2006 RMS worked with Cirque du Soleil to provide computer playback systems with additional capabilities needed for the specific needs of performances with extreme gymnastics. there are many different ways that the orchestra must respond to the vagaries of stage action (how many times does the trapeze artist swing before performing that tricky maneuver? And then what happens if the maneuver is not successful? Do they try it again or go on to the next bit?) Orchestras must be able to have the flexibility to make these types of decisions in real time. This led to additional developments in arbitrary relocation and dynamic hotkeys.
