These mutations have a chance to show up in even a Basic Nest. They do not come with any chance of Penalty, nor are they able to pass genetically!
Chimera:
Chimera creates a second phenotype visible on your Yore. This will not impact your Yore's real genes, but will visibly display as interrupting patches or checkers over your original design. All markings on Chimera will be in het form.
Mantle:
Mantle adds a mane of extra integument around the neck region, depending on the Coat type. Bald will create dewlaps or wattles, Fuzz, Barbary, and Silken will create longer fluffy manes, and Lush and Luxe will create impressive feather displays.
Adornments:
Adornments is a mutation which adds small, organic structures over up to 40% of the Yore. The extra feathers on the Luxe coat type are a good example of small, extra features Adornments can add. Skin tags or wattling, whiskers, longer claws, and small spikes similar to Beard elsewhere on the body are other examples of acceptable additions.
Webbing:
Webbing adds thin skin between the spikes (or spike-like structures) Crest adds on the back. Genos with Webbing are automatically given Crest as well. Webbing also allows Crest's spikes to appear on the forearms, calves and feet, jawline, and the underside of the tail.
Plumed:
Plumed changes Winglets to be feathered rather than batlike. Genos with Plumed are automatically given Winglets as well. Regardless of Coat type, Plumed winglets should show feathers on at least 50% of their surface; putting feathers on just the dorsal side is an acceptable way to show this! This mutation may combine with feathered coat types to simply extend the existing feathering to the entire winglet, forming a feathery covering over the batlike wings, or it may replace the batlike portion to instead feature large primary and secondary feathers, without the supporting wing finger bones.
These mutations can only appear in a breeding with a Rare penalty chance, or a Weird or Esoteric nest. They cannot pass genetically, but a hatchling inheriting enough Rare markings to acquire a mutation may still cause mutation in hatchlings of their own!
